The dynamic collaborative project Toyesauce announces their new live album and video, "Toyesauce Live at Tipitina's," releasing Friday, November 7, 2025 on all streaming platforms with accompanying video on YouTube. Captured at the legendary New Orleans venue, this debut live performance was recorded on June 5, 2025.

The lineup includes vocalist Jelly Joseph (Galactic), saxophonist Brad Walker (Dumpstaphunk), trumpeter Aurelien Barnes (The Rumble), keyboardist Sam Kuslan (Naughty Professor), bassist Noah Young (Naughty Professor), drummer Terrence Houston (George Porter Jr.), and Leon Toye on guitar, delivering the sophisticated funk sound that defines Toyesauce's collaborative vision. Recorded live at the iconic Tipitina's, this release captures the energy and musical chemistry of these accomplished artists converging in one of America's most storied music venues. The album's veteran mixing and mastering was performed by New Orleans' Eric Heigle and Nashville's Tommy Dorcey.

This gritty instrumental track delivers a funk-driven soundscape punctuated with rock elements and innovative time signatures, integrating the rich musical heritages of Austin, New Orleans, and Nashville.

Written by Kevin McKinney of the legendary Austin band Soulhat, "The Burglar" exemplifies the creative vision of project leader Leon Toye, showcasing the dynamic intersection of these influential music cities. The track brings together a cross-regional lineup featuring Austin's Kevin McKinney and Nashville's Leon Toye on electric guitars, Nashville bassist Kenny Jackson, and New Orleans drummer Terrence Houston (George Porter Jr. Trio). The track's dynamic production was spearheaded by Toye, with veteran mixing and mastering by New Orleans' Eric Heigle and Nashville's Tommy Dorcey.
